Marco Antônio , full name Marco Antônio Feliciano (born February 6, 1951 in Santos ), is a former Brazilian football player . He played as a defender on the left at Fluminense Rio de Janeiro and in the Brazilian national team . He won the 1970 World Cup in Mexico .

Life

Marco Antônio was born on February 6, 1951 in the port city of Santos on the coast of the Brazilian state of São Paulo . He started his professional career at the age of 17 and took him to the 1970 World Cup in Mexico. He came in the group game against Romania on June 10, 1970 for his first use. In the quarter-finals against Peru on June 14, 1970, he then played continuously. However, it remained with these two missions, as his position was filled by the veteran Everaldo . He took part in the 1974 World Cup in Germany , but was not even used in seven games. Ten years later he ended his 18-year professional career.
