Marco Antonio Órdenes Fernández (born October 29, 1964 in Iquique , Región de Tarapacá , Chile ) is a Chilean, former clergyman and former bishop of Iquique .

Life

The Bishop of Iquique, Enrique Troncoso Troncoso , ordained him a priest on December 14, 1996 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Iquique on October 23, 2006. The Archbishop of Santiago de Chile , Cardinal Francisco Javier Errázuriz Ossa ISch , donated him episcopal ordination on November 18 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Pablo Lizama Riquelme , Archbishop of Antofagasta , and Francisco Javier Prado Aránguiz SSCC , Bishop of Rancagua .
