Marcus Kiepe (* 1966 in Schwelm ) is a German actor who has been a member of the Vienna Burgtheater ensemble since 2009 .

Life

Kiepe grew up in Wuppertal , where he played smaller roles at the theater of the Wuppertaler Bühnen during his community service . He was also a co-founder of a small private theater ( Theater in Cronenberg ) in Wuppertal, before he accepted his first permanent engagement at the Pforzheim City Theater . Further stations were the Oldenburg State Theater , the Schauspiel Köln and the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , where he appeared in productions by Thirza Bruncken , Günter Krämer , Werner Schroeter and Janusz Wisniewski , among others .

From 2000 he was engaged at the Schauspielhaus Bochum , where he played in the cult production Helges Leben by Sibylle Berg in the theater underground. This production was also invited to the 26th Mülheim Theater Days in June 2001 . From 2005 to 2009 was engaged at the Schauspielhaus Zurich .
