Margarita Sergejewna Alijtschuk ( Russian Маргарита Сергеевна Алийчук ; born  August 10, 1990 in Seversk ) is a Russian rhythmic gymnast and Olympic champion .

Margarita Alijtschuk was in Seversk in the Tomsk Oblast born, but moved at age 13 to Omsk .

At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 , at the age of 18, she won the gold medal in the team competition before China and Belarus , together with Gavrilenko , Gorbunova , Possewina , Shkurichina and Sujewa .

In 2007 Aliychuk became world champion in Patras, Greece .

In 2008 Aliychuk ended her sporting career.
