Gräfnings, who starts for the Falun Borlänge SK, took part in junior races until 2006. Since 2006 she has mainly competed in Continental Cup races. She won a race at the US Super Tour in Aspen in February 2011 and a race at the Australia / New Zealand Cup in Falls Creek in August 2012 . At the 2007 Military World Ski Championships in Haanja , she was fifth over 10 km freestyle. She got her first World Cup points in November 2012 in Gällivare with the 28th place in the 10 km freestyle. She finished the Tour de Ski 2015 in 32nd place. Her best result so far in an individual World Cup race, she achieved in January 2015 in Rybinsk with 18th place in the skiathlon. In 2012 and 2015 she won the Kangaroo Hoppet . In the 2016/17 season she mainly took part in the Worldloppet Cup . She took third place at the Tartu Maraton and second at the König-Ludwig-Lauf and Ugra Ski Marathon . In addition, she won the Transjurassienne over 50 km freestyle and reached second place in the overall standings at the end of the season. In the following season she took third place at the Dolomitenlauf and second at the König-Ludwig-Lauf, Transjurassienne and the American Birkebeiner . In addition, she won the Tartu Maraton and thus achieved second place in the Worldloppet Cup overall ranking. At the end of April 2018 she won the Fossavatn Ski Marathon . In the 2018/19 season she triumphed at the Vasaloppet China , Dolomitenlauf, Tartu Maraton, Finlandia-hiihto and the Ugra Ski Marathon. In addition, she took second place at the König-Ludwig-Lauf and thus won the overall ranking of the Worldloppet Cup .
So far, she has started in 27 individual World Cup races and has made it into the points five times (as of the end of the 2018/19 season).
