Buildings and history

Erected under the direction of the Salzburg court architect Sebastian Stumpfegger , this church building is considered one of the most original works of Bavarian Rococo. In the floor plan in both the longitudinal and in the transverse axis symmetrically, the church has two constructed wooden towers, which shingled dome roofs are placed. The facade is plastered.
Furnishing
The church contains rich stucco work , the high altar and two side altars as well as a large ceiling painting by Innocent Anton Warathy , which shows the expulsion of the Protestants from the prince's provosty and which can be read in the lower chronogram of two cartouches translated from Latin:
- At the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin and Mother
- is the corrupting misconception here of this one
- Church has been driven out. (1733)
