Maria Katzgrau
Maria Katzgrau (born April 4, 1912 in Aachen ; † March 7, 1998 there ) was a German painter , graphic artist and glass painter .

Born and raised in Aachen, she studied at the Aachen School of Applied Arts with Rudolf Schwarz , where she became a master student and assistant to Anton Wendling . She dealt with glass design, monumental painting and graphics. In addition to Germany, her works can also be found in Iceland, Greenland and the Vatican Museum . She provided windows to three churches in Iceland: In the church in Höfn in Hornafjördur in 1966, in the Protestant church in Hafnarfjord in 1971 and in the church in Siglufjord in 1974.
