Marion Albers

Marion Albers (* 1961 ) is a German legal scholar. She is professor and holder of the chair for public law , information and communication law, health law and legal theory at the University of Hamburg .

Life

Marion Albers studied law , sociology , political science and economics at the Free University of Berlin and Bielefeld University from 1981 to 1990 , and received her doctorate in 1993 from Bielefeld University . In 2002 he completed his habilitation at the Humboldt University in Berlin. She is Professor of Public Law, Information and Communication Law, Health Law and Legal Theory at the University of Hamburg (since 2009) and Managing Director of the Hamburg Center for Bio-Governance (since 2013). She has been a member of the Council for Information Infrastructures since November 2018 .
