Marj Dusay (born February 20, 1936 in Hays , Kansas as Marjorie Ellen Pivonka Mahoney ; † January 28, 2020 ) was an American actress .

life and career

Dusay made her television debut in 1967. That same year, she starred alongside Elvis Presley in Just Don't Be A Millionaire . This was followed by numerous appearances in television series such as Hawaii Five-Zero (1969) as well as in a few movies. In 1977 she played in the war film MacArthur - Hero of the Pacific, the wife of US General Douglas MacArthur, played by Gregory Peck . In later years Dusay appeared primarily in soap operas, such as in California Clan (1988-1989, 1991) as Pamela Conrad. From 1993 until the series was discontinued in 2009, she played the role of Alexandra Spaulding in Springfield Story .

Marj Dusay was married to John Dusay from 1955 to 1961 and to Thomas Perine from 1967 until his death in 1988. Her daughter is the actress Debra Dusay . Her son died in 1993 of complications from his AIDS illness. Marj Dusay died in his sleep in January 2020 at the age of 83.
