Mark Paterson

Mark Paterson is a British sound engineer who has worked in over 80 film and television productions since his career began in the mid-2000s. At the 2013 Academy Awards , he was awarded an Oscar in the Best Sound category for his work at Les Misérables together with Andy Nelson and Simon Hayes . He, Nelson and Hayes also won a British Academy Film Award for Best Sound for this film in 2013 along with John Warhurst , Jonathan Allen and Lee Walpole . Paterson worked as a musician prior to his film career and continues to be involved in music projects with Led Zeppelin , Fatboy Slim and The Chemical Brothers , among others .
