Mark Shera
Mark Shera (* 10. July 1949 in Bayonne , New Jersey as Mark Shapiro ) is an American actor .
Life
Shera made his film debut in 1974 in the television production Nicky's World alongside Olympia Dukakis . After guest appearances in Kojak - Operation in Manhattan and Smoking Colts , he was cast in 1975 as Officer Dominic Luca in the television series The Knallharten Five , which he played in 35 episodes until the series was discontinued in 1976. He then played the role of Jedediah Romano "JR" Jones in the detective series Barnaby Jones from 1976 to 1980. Until the mid-1990s, he played guest roles in series and television films. Most recently, he had a speaking role in Steven Spielberg's Mystery - miniseries Taken .
