Markus Klammer

Markus Klammer (born May 28, 1955 in Brixen ) is an Italian art critic , publisher and curator .

Live and act

Markus Klammer studied history , German , art history and philosophy at the University of Innsbruck from 1974 . In 1983 he was with a dissertation on the religious brotherhood beings in time of the Counter-Reformation in Tirol doctorate .

From 1980 he worked as a freelancer for magazines and newspapers with articles on art and culture. From 1986 to 1991 Markus Klammer was a board member of the Ar / Ge-Kunst forum and employee of the Museum Gallery in Bozen; From 1992 to 1995 exhibitions and project work for the Museion - Museum of Modern Art Bolzano followed , until 1998 he headed the Art Association of Bolzano , founded in 1995. The main focus is on the aesthetic experiences of representation and visual criticism since modern times. Numerous publications and catalog texts appeared on the work as an exhibition curator.

Markus Klammer is a high school teacher, he lives and works in Bolzano .
