Martina Chrapánová (born December 14, 1989 ) is a Slovak biathlete .

Martina Chrapánová has participated in competitions of the European Junior Cup since 2006 . The first major event was the 2007 Junior World Championships in Martell , where the Slovak was 20th in the individual, 13th in the sprint and 25th in the pursuit. In 2008 she took part in the Junior World Championships in Ruhpolding , where she was 16th of the individual, came 46th in the sprint and improved by 35 places to eleventh in the pursuit race based on it. She was also 12th with the season. In Nové Město na Moravě followed the participation in the junior competitions at the Biathlon European Championships 2008 , in which Chrapánová was 32nd of the individual, 27th of the sprint and 28th of the pursuit and sixth relay. The races in Canmore turned out to be the Slovakia's third Junior World Championship. She could not build on the results of the two previous years and took 33rd place in the individual, 32nd in the sprint, 42nd in the pursuit and eleven with the relay. Shortly thereafter, she started again in the junior races of the 2009 European Biathlon Championships in Ufa . In the sprint as well as in the pursuit she reached the 26th place, was 21st in the individual and fifth in the relay race. The 2010 Junior World Championships in Torsby became the fourth world championships . Chrapánová was 37th of the sprint, 30th of the pursuit, did not reach the goal in the individual and finished ninth in the relay. She finished the Junior European Championship in 2010 in 26th place in the sprint, 16 in the pursuit, 14 in the individual and tenth in the mixed relay. Later that year Chrapánová took part in Duszniki-Zdrój in the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2010 , in which she was 23rd in the sprint, 17th in the pursuit and fifth in the relay race.

For women in the performance area, Chrapánová made her debut in 2007 in an individual in Obertilliach , which she finished 51st. The debut in the biathlon world cup took place in 2008 in Hochfilzen . In the sprint she was 108th, in the relay race with Martina Halinárová , Ľubomíra Kalinová and Natália Prekopová 16. In the European Cup, she won points for the first time in 2009 in Nové Město as 33rd of a sprint. Shortly afterwards she reached a 26th place in the sprint in Osrblie . In the 2010/11 season she started in the World Cup and at the start in Östersund she reached 85th place in the individual race, her best result to date in a World Cup individual race. A week later she was tenth in the relay race with Anastasiya Kuzmina , Jana Gereková and Prekopová in Hochfilzen. The highlight of the season was the 2011 Biathlon World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk , where the Czech finished 75th in the sprint and seventh in the relay race. At the European Biathlon Championships 2011 in Ridanna , she came in 26th place in the individual, was 30th in the sprint and 25th in the pursuit. In the 2012/13 season Chrapánová improved her best performance in the World Cup to 39th place in an individual in Östersund. This was the first time she won World Cup points.
