Natália Prekopová (born May 31, 1989 in Ilava ) is a Slovak biathlete .

Natália Prekopová is a student and lives in Krivoklát . She has been running biathlon since 2004 and is trained by Milan Gašperčík. Before that, she was a cross-country skier for five years. The athlete from VŠC Dukla Banska Bystrica has been part of the Slovak national team since 2008. Since 2005 she has participated in international junior races as part of the Biathlon European Cup. The first Junior World Championship she ran in 2007 in Martell , where she was 34th in the individual, 33rd in the sprint, 22nd in the pursuit and eleventh place in the relay. A year later she was able to celebrate her greatest international success so far by winning the bronze medal in the individual in Ruhpolding . She was also ninth in the sprint and 13th in the pursuit and twelfth in the relay. Also in 2009 Prekopová ran in Canmore at the Junior World Championships. There, too, she achieved her best result in the individual with rank 15. Added to this are 35th place in the sprint, 41st in the pursuit and eleven in the relay competition. In 2008 she also took part in the European Junior Championships in Nové Město na Moravě and achieved the best results, a 19th place in the individual and a sixth place with the relay.

Prekopová has been running in the women's area since 2007. She ran her first race in the adult class in 2007 as part of the European Cup in Obertilliach , where she was 32nd in the sprint. The Slovakian celebrated her World Cup debut in 2008 in Hochfilzen , where she was 104th in the sprint and on the side of Martina Halinárová , omubomíra Kalinová and Martina Chrapanova 16th in the relay competition. Shortly afterwards she was 84th in the sprint in the same place. The highlight of the season was participation in the 2009 Biathlon World Championships in Pyeongchang . There Prekopová ran the sprint race and was 68th there, although she missed the pursuit race by eight places, but achieved her best result so far in a World Cup race. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , she was a member of the Slovak relay, which finished 13th. At the 2010 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Osrblie , she won bronze in the mixed relay alongside Jana Gereková , Miroslav Matiaško and Matej Kazár .
