Martina Landl

Martina Landl (* in Linz ) is an Austrian singer ( soprano ) and vocal teacher .

Life

After the main music school in Harbach , Landl began her vocal training at the music high school and continued it at the Bruckner Conservatory , where she graduated with honors in 1997. She supplemented her training with studies in song and oratorio with Thomas Kerbl and at the opera school.

She then studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and finished her studies in 1999 with a graduation from Mag.art. This was followed by master classes with Kurt Equiluz , Gundula Janowitz , Emma Kirkby and Kurt Widmer .

Martina Landl often works as a speaker and voice trainer at choir seminars. She has been a solo singing teacher at the Linz City Music School since 2001 and has participated in several opera productions as a member of the extra choir at the Linz State Theater . She appears as a soloist at concerts and in the field of church music . In the church of the Barmherzigen Brüder in Linz she could be heard in more than 90 masses, mainly baroque composers under the direction of Wolfgang Fürlinger .

In 2017 she released her first solo CD with selected songs and arias and in 2018 she sang the role of Maria von Magdala in the world premiere of the Easter Oratorio by Michael Stenov .

Martina Landl is married, lives in Linz and has three daughters.

Landl's repertoire includes works from the fields of lied, oratorio and opera by composers such as Bach , Britten , Haydn , Mozart and Weber .
