society

Mavrič played for the Slovenian second division club NK Piran until 1997. When the first team relegated to the third division, he moved to runner-up NK Primorje from Ajdovščina. There the central defender made regular appearances in the first Slovenian league for the first two years . After he had only played three times for Primorye in 1999/2000, he moved to league rivals ND Gorica during the season . In 2001 he won his first title when the club from Nova Gorica won the national cup. Up until then he had only made a few missions; in the following two years he became an integral part of the defense and completed almost all season games. In 2004 the team became champions. Mavrič then continued his career with the Norwegian first division club Molde FK .

The Slovenian played with FK Molde against relegation; In 2005 the relegation came only in the relegation. But the club was all the more successful in the Norwegian Cup. The team played through to the final and even won the title there against Hønefoss. As a result, Mavrič came to two UEFA Cup games in 2006. Molde sat down again this year on the last place in the table.

The Slovenian then moved to the second half of the season in Germany: The TuS Koblenz loaned him to the end of the season as reinforcement in the relegation battle and also signed him for the 2007/08 season. During his time at TuS Koblenz, he was one of the crowd's favorites and became a record player for TuS in the 2nd Bundesliga.

At the beginning of the 2010/11 season he went to the Austrian Bundesliga club Kapfenberger SV . In the Upper Styrian he signed a contract with a term of three years.

In summer 2012 he returned to Slovenia and played for FC Koper until spring 2013 , before ending his professional football career.
