Mateusz Danieluk (born April 17, 1986 in Jastrzębie-Zdrój ) is a Polish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Stoczniowiec Gdańsk in the Ekstraliga since 2018 .

Career

Mateusz Danieluk began his career in the youth department of the JKH GKS Jastrzębie . At the age of 16 he left his hometown in Silesia for three years and went to the youth academy of the Polish ice hockey association in Sosnowiec, for whose team he was active in the I league , the second highest division in Poland. In 2005 he moved to the Ekstraliga to Zagłębie Sosnowiec . A year later he returned to his home club JKH GKS Jastrzębie, for which he played for ten years. With the team from the Upper Silesian mining town, he first played in the I league, but rose to the Ekstraliga in 2008. In 2013 he and his team were Polish Cup winners and Polish runners-up in 2013 and 2015. In the 2012/13 season he achieved the best plus / minus balance of the Ekstraliga playoffs. In 2016 he moved to league competitor Polonia Bytom , for whom he played for two years. He has been with Stoczniowiec Gdańsk since 2018 .

International

For Poland , Danieluk took part in the junior division of the U18 World Championships in Division I 2004 and the U20 World Championships in Division I in 2005 and 2006 .

In the senior division, he was part of the Polish squad at the Division I World Championships in 2009 , 2010 and 2011 .
