The Matis Group (own spelling: MATIS) is a globally represented group of companies for technology and management consulting and is an engineering service provider and development partner in the automotive , IT / electronics / telecommunications , aerospace , mechanical and plant engineering, energy technology and rail transport sectors active. The focus is on the development , construction , verification and testing of assemblies to subsystems, as well as management consulting .

history

The origin of the Matis Group lies in France, where Maurice Guez founded the first company in 1994. After several years of growth in the domestic market, the first subsidiary outside France was established in Morocco in 2000. In 2001 the company was expanded to include the business areas Matis Information Systems (IT systems for finance and insurance) and Matis Telecom (telecommunications) and supplemented by the establishment of Matis Technologies (technical consulting). With Belgium, the company expanded into neighboring countries in 2005, and further branches followed in Spain (2007), Germany (2008), Brazil (2009) and Mexico (2010). The establishment of national branches in Switzerland and the Netherlands, as well as Matis Innovation as a technological pioneer, is planned for 2011.

Since its expansion outside of the French home market in 2000, the Matis Group has expanded by an average of 30%. In 2010 the Matis Group employed approx. 1,250 people and generated sales of around EUR 66 million.

Subsidiaries

  • Matis France: France has been the Group's main market since it was founded in 1994. Matis France employs more than 75% of the global workforce and is responsible for around two thirds of the sales generated. The international headquarters are located near Paris , national offices are in Toulouse , Le Havre , Lyon and Bordeaux , and further locations are planned in Lille and Strasbourg .
  • Matis Hispania: Matis Hispania operates three locations in Spain: the headquarters are in Barcelona , development offices are in Madrid and Pamplona . The approximately 85 employees generate a turnover of around 4 million euros.
  • Matis Benelux: The main office is in Brussels . New branches in Liège and Eindhoven are planned for 2011 . The company is currently the group's second largest subsidiary and employs around 130 people with sales of around EUR 8.6 million.
  • Matis Deutschland: In 2008, the legally independent Matis Deutschland GmbH was founded to take over and expand the businesses that were previously managed from France. In addition to the headquarters in Munich, there are other locations in Stuttgart , Hanover , Hamburg and Berlin . In 2010 Matis Germany achieved a turnover of approx. 6 million euros with 120 employees.
  • Matis do Brasil: The headquarters are in Campinas north of São Paulo .
  • Matis Switzerland: Since it was founded in 2011, Matis Switzerland has opened branches in Zurich and Geneva .
