International

In the junior division, Iberer played for Austria at the U18 World Cup in 2002 in Division I and in the U20 World Championships in 2004 in the top division and in 2005 in Division I.

Iberer made his debut in the men's national team on April 6, 2007 in a 4-2 win against Slovenia in Ljubljana . At an official tournament he played for the first time in February 2013 in the Olympic qualification in Bietigheim-Bissingen , when the team from the Alpine country qualified for the games in Sochi despite a defeat in their last game against Germany .
