Melanie Böhm (born December 10, 1990 in Linz ) is a German-Austrian actress , singer and dancer .

Life

Melanie Böhm comes from Upper Austria and grew up there. At the age of 5 she began taking dance lessons, and a little later also guitar lessons. At the age of 13 she was accepted at the Musical Theater Academy in Linz, where she also received private acting lessons. At the age of 14 she took on the role of Dorothy in the musical The Wiz at the Stadttheater Wels and at 16 the role of Lily St. Regis in the musical Annie at the Landestheater Linz .

In addition to the federal training institute for kindergarten and after-school education, Böhm also completed training as a dance teacher in Linz and then moved to Vienna after graduating from high school. In Vienna she studied acting, singing and dance at the Performing Center Austria and also took private acting lessons.

In 2013, in addition to Sr. Johanna Benedicta , she also played the role of Mascha in the play Villa Dolorosa by Rebekka Kricheldorf in the casino of the Burgtheater Vienna . After several engagements in Austria , Switzerland , London , France , Italy and Germany , she now lives in her adopted home Hamburg . In 2016 she founded the pre-training for acting and musicals “Stage Material” together with the actor Max König .

In 2018 she made her debut at the Kalkberg in Bad Segeberg at the Karl May Games with the play Winnetou - and the secret of the rock castle . There she played the role of the Mexican Felisa at the side of Jan Sosniok , Jochen Horst and Christine Neubauer .
