In the European Union, Methacrifos was not included in Annex I of Directive 91/414 / EEC by Regulation (EC) No. 2076/2002 of November 20, 2002. For this reason, no pesticides containing methacrifos may be approved in the EU countries.

In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, no pesticides with this active ingredient are permitted.
