Michael Altmann

Michael Altmann (born September 14, 1943 in Breslau ; † September 25, 2016 in Forst (Hunsrück) ) was a German actor .

life and career

He had his first engagement in Verden an der Aller , which was followed by others at German theaters such as the Staatstheater Stuttgart , the Schillertheater (Berlin) and the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg .

From the end of the 1990s on he was a permanent member of the Thalia Theater , where he worked as a scribe, Licht in Der zerbrochne Krug , as Polonius in Hamlet and Geppetto in Pinocchio's adventures .

From 1982 he was also present in numerous film and television productions, especially alongside Nadine Wrietz , Karsten Kramer and Peter Groeger in the successful ZDF television series Anja & Anton and in the multi-part series Molle mit Korn , based on Georg Lentz 's novel , in which he when Schnüffelpaule was seen. Altmann was also seen in Martin Theo Krieger 's first feature film, Zischke , and then in similar productions such as Kiebich and Dutz, Never again sleep, Balancing act or She is my mother.

Michael Altmann died at the end of September 2016 at the age of 73, about two months before his death he could be seen at the Luisenburg Festival in Wunsiedel as the grandfather in Anton Hamik's " The Bartered Grandfather ".
