Michael Görlitz (born March 8, 1987 in Nuremberg ) is a German soccer player .

Career

societies

Görlitz began his career at SB Phönix Nürnberg and later moved to FC Holzheim Neumarkt . After he was discovered by 1. FC Nürnberg and developed into one of the greatest talents there in 2002, he signed with FC Bayern Munich . With Bayern he reached the final of the German A youth championship in 2006, which, however, was lost - despite his goal, the only one of his team. For the Regionalliga team he played 35 games in three seasons and scored four goals.

In June 2008 he completed a one-week trial training session with the Swedish first division club Halmstads BK, whereupon the club announced on July 23, 2008 that Görlitz had been signed. On his debut on August 11th (18th matchday) in a 3-1 home win over Helsingborgs IF , he also scored his first goal with the interim 2-0, which earned him the "Man of the Match" award.

After Görlitz was named "Player of the Year" of his club on November 22, 2008, he was also given this honor on November 16, 2009. In addition to Christian Järdler , Tomas Žvirgždauskas , Tim Sparv and Emil Salomonsson , he was a regular player among the guarantors who were able to avert relegation of the club by reaching the last non-relegation place.

However, Görlitz rose in the 2011 season with his club Halmstads BK as the last and with only 14 points from the first Swedish league (Allsvenskan). His contract expired at the end of December. Before Christmas he completed a two-week trial training session with the German second division team SpVgg Greuther Fürth . Despite his convincing qualities, however, he was not obliged because he did not fit into the requirement profile of the Fürth due to his offensive urge. Instead, Görlitz signed a contract with FSV Frankfurt until June 30, 2013 on January 27, 2012 , where he made his debut on February 3, 2012 under coach Benno Möhlmann in the game against MSV Duisburg , when he played for Chadli in the 77th minute Amri was substituted on. After the serious injury to Amri, who broke his fibula on the 23rd match day and was out for the rest of the season, Görlitz was on the right wing as a regular for the black-blue team. In his 14 appearances in the 2011/12 season, he scored four goals. In February 2013, Görlitz prematurely extended his contract by one year.

For the 2014/15 season Görlitz moved to league competitor FC St. Pauli , with whom he signed a two-year contract. A year later he switched to Arminia Bielefeld. After two seasons, his contract term ended after the 2016/17 season .

On January 29, 2018, Görlitz signed a contract with the regional division TSV 1860 Munich until the end of the 2017/18 season with an option to extend.

National team

In the national jersey, Görlitz was used for the first time on August 26, 2002 in Engingen, in the 1-1 draw of the U-16 national team against Switzerland. In the seventh of nine games in this selection, he scored the only time: On June 16, 2003, the United States was defeated 3-0 in Salerno, where he marked the goal for the interim 2-0 in the 76th minute of the game.

In the U-17 national team he was used 12 times; for the first time - exactly one year after his debut as a national player - on August 26, 2003 in the 1-0 victory in Parndorf over the selection of Austria. In the 1: 5 defeat in Mattersdoerf, two days later, against the Swiss national team, he scored the Germans' only goal. He played two games in November 2004 (against Turkey) and two in March 2005 (against France) for the U-18 national team . With six games for the U-19 national team in 2006 (from January 23; 2: 2 against South Korea to April 26; 0: 1 in Poland) his 31 appearances in the national jersey end.

Görlitz played in qualifying and in the pre-season games for until 21 July 2007 by 14 in India's Hyderabad discharged Military World Games for the Bundeswehr's team , however, was not considered for the tournament itself.
