Michael Gladis
Michael James Gladis (born August 30, 1977 in Houston , Texas ) is an American actor . He was best known for his role as Paul Kinsey in the television series Mad Men .
life and career
Gladis grew up in Farmington , Connecticut , where he attended Farmington High School until 1995. He then studied first at the School of Art and Design at Alfred University and then until 1999 theater studies at the State University of New York at New Paltz .
After graduating, Gladis moved to New York City . He appeared in a national theater tour of the play Romeo and Juliet and later also received leading roles in the production of Bertolt Brechts Baal at the off-off Broadway Flea Theater.
In 2002 he got his first supporting role in the feature film K-19 - Showdown in the Depth . This was followed by roles in television series such as Third Watch - Einsatz am Limit or Hope and Faith , before he took on the role of copywriter Paul Kinsey in three seasons of the AMC series Mad Men from 2007 . In 2009 and 2010, Gladis was recognized for at the Screen Actors Guild Awards for Best Acting Company in a Television Series - Drama .
After leaving the series, Gladis was seen in films such as J. Edgar (2011), Devil's Knot - In the Shadow of Truth or Knights of Badassdom (both 2013).
In July 2016, Gladis got engaged to actress Beth Behrs after a six-year relationship .
