Michael Greyeyes (born June 4, 1967 in Qu'Appelle Valley , Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian actor, choreographer and director. He is a member of the Cree First Nations , his father is of the Muskeg Lake First Nation, his mother of the Sweetgrass First Nation.

Career

His career began in 1993 with the role of Juh in the television film The Blood Revenge of Geronimo . He had guest appearances in numerous television series (including Walker, Texas Ranger , Dr. Quinn - a passionate doctor ). In 1997 he played the title role in Crazy Horse - The proud warrior and together with Janine Turner in The Chief's Dream . In May 2003 he graduated from Kent State University with an acting degree . Other major films he has appeared in include Dance me Outside (1994), Smoke Signals (1998) and The New World (2005).
