Michael Jackson - The Experience (also Michael Jackson: The Experience ) is a music and dance game . Ubisoft is the developer and publisher . The game was released on November 25, 2010 for Wii and Nintendo DS , on December 2, 2010 for PlayStation Portable and on March 31, 2011 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 .
Over two million copies of the game have been sold since it was released, around 90% of which for the Wii.
control
The game is controlled with the Wii-Mote (Wii), the PlayStation Move controller (PlayStation 3) or with the help of Kinect (Xbox 360). The technology that is used here is called, according to Ubisoft, "Player Projection". The player embodies Michael Jackson , who, accompanied by his music and various surroundings of his video clips, dances to them depending on the piece of music.
There are two modes: Dance and Dance School . The first mode is the main game, where (as mentioned above) you dance to Michael's songs. On the left-hand side (1-player), after selecting the song, a bar appears that shows how many points and therefore how many stars you have achieved. The stars are required to unlock videos. Pictograms also appear in the top left to indicate which movement is to be carried out next.
The second mode includes some free-to-play videos in which dancers (background dancers from This Is It , including Travis Payne ) explain the most popular dance moves from the various video clips. Since these are only playable videos, the Wii-Mote is not required for this.
The game includes a 4-player mode on Wii and PlayStation 3, but not on Xbox 360. Singing along is part of the Kinect, which is optional on Wii and PlayStation 3.
With the Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable versions, the aim is to press the buttons in rhythm and score as many points as possible.
