Another Part of Me is a song by Michael Jackson from his album Bad . The song was released on July 11, 1988 as the sixth single from the album.
The song originally appeared in Jackson's 1986 3D film Captain EO . The track, written by Michael Jackson and produced by Quincy Jones , was also used in the video game Michael Jackson's Moonwalker . Originally, the song Streetwalker, which was written by Jackson himself, should appear on the album instead of Another Part of Me. Producer Quincy Jones, however, was in favor of Another Part of Me, while Jackson favored Streetwalker.
The song reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 , in Great Britain number 15 and in Switzerland number 5 on the charts.
The 1988 music video for the song was directed by Patrick Kelly. It shows Jackson on stage singing the song during the Bad World Tour at Wembley Stadium .
