Gone Too Soon is a pop ballad directed by Michael Jackson that was released on December 1, 1993. It can be found on the album Dangerous and is dedicated to the AIDS activist Ryan White , with whom Jackson was friends. The cover shows Jackson and White.

Emergence

The song is originally a cover version of the singer Dionne Warwick . With this song she paid tribute to many deceased artists, such as John Belushi , Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley . Jackson then decided to dedicate this song to his friend, teenager and activist Ryan White .
