Scream is a song by Michael Jackson that he sings in a duet with his younger sister, Janet Jackson . It is the title track on his double album HIStory - Past, Present and Future Book I , which was released on May 31, 1995.

Emergence

Scream is an autobiographical song by Jackson about the press and spreading rumors about Jackson. The song is the first since his child molestation charge.

Music video

The music video shows a spaceship in which the two Jacksons u. a. meditate, jump on the walls and play tennis. The director was Mark Romanek and the video is 4:38. At seven million dollars in cost, Scream is the most expensive music video ever produced and has a Guinness World Record entry.

At the MTV Video Music Awards 1995 the song was nominated eleven times. It eventually won Best Dance Video , Best Choreography in a Video, and Best Art Direction in a Video .
