Michael Krück

Michael Krück (born August 12, 1842 in Laumersheim , † May 20, 1919 in Würzburg ) was a Bavarian educator.

Life

Born the son of a butter trader, Krück studied theology and philosophy in Erlangen , Heidelberg and Utrecht after attending grammar school in Speyer . During his studies in Erlangen, he became a member of the Bubenreuther fraternity in 1861 .

After graduating, he became vicar in Landau in the Palatinate in 1866 and then worked as a real teacher in Augsburg . In 1872 he became a grammar school professor in Nuremberg and at the same time worked as a consultant for the city's elementary schools and school council of the city of Nuremberg. He became a member of the Nuremberg community college, where he was negative about social democracy . From 1876 to 1878 he was a member of the Pegnese Flower Order . In 1877 he was involved in the founding of the Society for the History of the City of Nuremberg , where he was a member of the executive committee. From 1878 to 1912 he was rector of the Würzburg high school . He became senior teacher , privy councilor and ministerial commissioner for the Bavarian secondary schools. In 1896 he joined the Supreme School Council. At the end of the 1890s he was a member of the Würzburg community college. In 1912 he retired.

Krück was married to Antonie (* 1858), daughter of Anton Friedrich von Tröltsch .
