Michael Lech (* 1989 or 1990 ) is a professional American poker player . With eight rings , he is one of the most successful players in the circuit tournaments of the World Series of Poker .
Poker career
Career
Lech has been taking part in renowned live tournaments since 2011 .
In November 2012, Lech won his first live tournament at the Dream Catcher World Poker Challenge in Durant , Oklahoma , and received a prize of almost 7,000 US dollars . At the main event of the Mid-States Poker Tour in Black Hawk , he finished sixth in mid-November 2014, worth more than 20,000 US dollars. In July 2016 Lech was the first time in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas successful and occurred in two tournaments of the variant No-Limit Hold'em in the money. He finished runner-up in Crazy Eights for more than $ 400,000. Then he also reached the paid places in the main event . At the beginning of November 2016, Lech won an event at the WSOP circuit on Sint Maarten and with it his first gold ring, which every tournament winner receives at events in this series. In mid-May 2017, he prevailed in New Orleans at the high roller of the WSOP circuit event and received the grand prize of over 100,000 US dollars. In Campione d'Italia , Lech won a circuit main event for the first time at the beginning of March 2018 , which was awarded 32,000 euros .
