Michael Moll (* 1974 in Essen ) is a German travel book author and entrepreneur .

Life

While working in the public service , he discovered the desire to travel and in 2001 took a sabbatical year in which he traveled around Europe on a bicycle. The following year he cycled through Germany in another sabbatical year for a good cause in favor of the German Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked People, collecting autographs from prominent personalities such as B. Harald Schmidt , Michael Mittermeier and Heino , which were auctioned after the trip in favor of the DGzRS. In 2005 he started writing travel guides as a freelance travel book author . In 2009 he became a member of Mensa in Germany . In 2012 he was trained as a certified hiking guide by the Sauerland Mountain Association . In addition, he has already been able to publicly exhibit pictures from his travels, for example in the town hall foyer in Poppenhausen (Wasserkuppe) . He also gives public travel lectures.

In 2016, he invested in the construction of a motorhome parking space in Nordkirchen and also operates it himself.
