Michele Perniola (born September 6, 1998 in Palagiano ) is an Italian singer . He represented San Marino at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and with Anita Simoncini at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna .

Life

Michele Perniola came into contact with music at an early age and was already on stage at the age of nine. In December 2012 he took part in the popular Italian singing competition Ti lascio una canzone .

In 2013 the broadcaster SMRTV selected the singer to represent San Marino in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest . With the song OoO Sole intorno a me , he landed in tenth place. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 he announced the points from San Marino. On November 28, 2014, it was announced at a press conference on the San Marino TV station that Perniola would represent the republic together with Anita Simoncini at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest . The "Chain Of Lights" entry was announced on March 16. It was composed by Ralph Siegel . After taking part in the second semi-final of the song competition in Vienna, the duo could not qualify for the final.
