Valentina Monetta said in an interview with eurovision.tv that she might compete for San Marino again in 2015, but this could also have been due to her song title Maybe . On March 12, 2017 it was announced that Monetta will take part in the ESC for the fourth time in 2017 . In Kiev she performed the song "Spirit of the Night" in the second semifinals with Jimmie Wilson . Here, too, she missed the finals.
