Miguel Ángel López (athlete)
Miguel Ángel López ( Miguel Ángel López Nicolás ; born July 3, 1988 in Murcia ) is a Spanish walker .
Over 20 km , he came 14th at the 2010 European Championships in Barcelona and 16th at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu . He was fifth at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and bronze at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow . In 2015 he became world champion in Beijing .
In 2010 he became Spanish champion in 20 km walking and in 2010, 2012 and 2013 in 10,000 meter walking.
Miguel Ángel López is 1.81 m tall and weighs 70 kg. He starts for the UCAM Athleo Cieza and is coached by José Antonio Carrillo.
