In the DEL he was active for the Augsburger Panther and the Adler Mannheim .
Player career
The 1.85 m tall winger began his career with the Hamilton Steelhawks and the Sudbury Wolves in the Canadian Junior League OHL before he was selected ( drafted ) in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft as 140th in the seventh round of the Blackhawks .
After a year at the Saginaw Hawks , an IHL - farm team the Blackhawks, the links Sagittarius completed in the 1988/89 season his first NHL inserts for Chicago, where he quickly became a regular player. During the season 1992/93 Hudson was transferred from the Blackhawks to the Edmonton Oilers, for which he completed only five games and which he left at the end of the season in the direction of New York Rangers. The Canadian won the Stanley Cup with the Rangers in 1994 , but then moved to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Hudson's other NHL stations were the Toronto Maple Leafs, the St. Louis Blues and the Phoenix Coyotes. However, Hudson could no longer build on past successes, for example, he only played a total of seven times for Phoenix, so that in 1997 he signed a contract with the Augsburg Panthers from the DEL.
During the season, however, Mike Hudson switched to Adler Mannheim, with whom he won the German championship in the following two final series and then ended his career at the age of 32.
