The Chapada dos Veadeiros microregion is located in the mid-west ( Região Central-Oeste ) of Brazil . It is a region in the Brazilian state of Goiás determined by the IBGE (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística) for statistical purposes . It belongs to the North Goiás mesoregion and comprises eight communities.

- In the north at Dianópolis ( Oriental do Tocantins , TO )
- In the extreme northeast at Barreiras ( Extremo Oeste Baiano , BA )
