Mimi Michaels (born February 22, 1983 in Great Neck , Nassau County , New York ) is an American actress .

life and career

Mimi Michaels is from Great Neck, New York State. She attended LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts in New York City . On the recommendation of her high school dean, she declined to study at the State University of New York and instead moved to Los Angeles to gain a foothold in acting.

In addition to her first acting jobs in Los Angeles, she studied English literature at the University of Southern California , from which she graduated with a Masters. Michaels made his first appearances in front of the camera at the age of four for commercials. Part of her family also comes from the performing arts. Her grandparents were both theater actors and her older brother Fred Michaels works for film production companies and as a writer.

Michaels took her first acting role in 1991, at the age of seven, when she appeared on Saturday Night Live . Since then she has seen regularly as guest actress in US series, including Law & Order , Dragnet , Without a Trace - , Six Feet Under - Died always , Shark , Criminal Minds , CSI: Vegas , Bones - The Knochenjägerin , Castle , StartUp , Shades of Blue or Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York . In 2016 she played a minor supporting role as Fiona in Quantum Break .

In addition to her series appearances, Michaels also repeatedly took on roles in films, for example as the eponymous character in Aimee Semple McPherson 2006 or as Lindsey one of the leading roles in Boogeyman 3 in 2009. Further appearances followed in Gamer , Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2 or Dope .
