Mitterberghütten (until 1929 Ausserfelden ) is a town in the town of Bischofshofen in the Austrian state of Salzburg .

The village is located in the Salzach Valley south of Bischofshofen at the Mühlbach estuary and has 1,417 inhabitants (as of October 31, 2011).

From 1885 to 1931 copper mining was carried out in Mitterberghütten .
