Location of the Molino San Vincenzo site

Molino San Vincenzo describes an archaeological site in the municipality of Montespertoli in Tuscany in Italy and is located about 250 m south of the Pesa River , a tributary of the Arno . It is a field name that probably derives from a no longer preserved mill (ital. Mulino , the mill) east of the site and the north of the town of San Vincenzo a Torri in the municipality of Scandicci . In the place of the mill there is now a small housing estate on via San Vincenzo , also called "Molino San Vincenzo".

The main focus of the settlement activity is the late Republican period up to the Roman Empire , which is why we can speak of a Roman villa rustica in the hinterland of the region VII Etruria .
