Moritz Pathé
Moritz Pathé (born December 25, 1893 in Berlin , † April 9, 1956 in Essen ) was a German painter and book illustrator .
Life
Moritz Pathé was primarily an animal painter . His work as a visual artist consists of paintings that he created during his expedition trips to West Africa , about which he also reported in travel books . In addition , he has illustrated numerous narrative works for children, adolescents and adults since the 1920s . a. a large part of the works by Erich Kloss published by Schneider-Verlag .
