Mother ( dt. , 'Mother') is a song of the German Pop - singer Daniel . The track is the second single from his debut album Lucky Star .

Creation and artwork

The song was composed by Christopher Fairbrass , Richard Fairbrass , Matthias Meusel, Ulrich Rode and Clyde Ward, the song was produced by Hartmut Krech and Mark Nissen. The single was released under the music label Polydor . On the cover of the maxi single - in addition to the artist and the song title - all performers can be seen together behind a white (see-through) wall. The photography is by Ben Wolf.

Publication and promotion

The single was first released on April 19, 2004 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland . In addition to the single version, the maxi single also contains two remix versions, an extended version and a karaoke version of the song, as a B-side . As can also be seen on the cover of the single, the project was supported and promoted by the television station Sat.1 and the producer of entertainment programs GRUNDY Light Entertainment . A music video for Smile was not shot.

This association of artists consists of the finalists of the first season, the casting show Star Search , in the category "Music Act from 10 to 15 years". This is not the first single release of the four artists, already under the project name Star Search 1 - The Kids they released the single Smile a year earlier .
