The Kansas Lottery 300 is a NASCAR Nationwide Series car race that has been held annually since 2001 at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City , Kansas . It goes over a distance of 300 miles which is 482.8 kilometers. In 2004 there was a "Green-White-Checkered-Finish" , an extension of the race due to a late yellow phase. Joe Nemechek won the race at the time.
