The municipality of Anzaldo is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

The municipality of Anzaldo is one of four municipalities in the province of Esteban Arce . It is bordered by the municipality of Tarata in the northwest , the Department of Potosí in the southwest , the province of Mizque in the southeast , the municipality of Sacabamba in the east, the province of Punata in the northeast , and the province of Germán Jordán in the north .

The central place of the municipality is Anzaldo with 1,209 inhabitants in the central part of the municipality. ( 2012 )

The Municipio Anzaldo is located in the transition area between the Andes mountain range of the Cordillera Central and the Bolivian lowlands. The mean average temperature of the region is around 18 ° C (see climate diagram Cochabamba) and fluctuates only slightly between 14 ° C in June / July and 20 ° C in October / November.
