The municipality of Sacabamba is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The municipality of Sacabamba is one of four municipalities in the province of Esteban Arce . It borders the province of Cercado to the northwest , the province of Capinota to the west, the municipality of Tarata to the south, the province of Germán Jordán to the east, and the province of Chapare to the northeast .
The central place of the municipality is Sacabamba with 612 inhabitants in the southern part of the municipality. ( 2012 census )

The Municipio Sacabamba lies between the mountain ranges of the Cordillera Oriental and the Cordillera Central . The climate is characterized by a typical daytime climate , in which the temperature fluctuations between day and night are greater than between the seasons.
The annual average temperature of the region is around 12 ° C (see the Sacabamba climate diagram), with the monthly averages varying between 8.5 ° C in June / July and 14 ° C in November / December. Annual precipitation is 500 mm, with a pronounced dry season from April to October with monthly values below 20 mm, and a short humidity period from January to February with 100 to 125 mm per month.
