The Municipio Villa Abecia (also: Municipio Camataqui ) is a district in the Chuquisaca department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The municipality of Villa Abecia is one of three municipalities in the province of Sud Cinti and includes its north-western area. It borders on the Potosí Department to the west, the Las Carreras Municipality to the south, the Tarija Department and the Culpina Municipality to the east , and the Nor Cinti Province to the north .
The municipality extends between about 20 ° 51 'and 21 ° 08' south latitude and 65 ° 06 'and 65 ° 28' west longitude, its extent from west to east is up to 35 kilometers, from north to south up to 30 kilometers .

The Municipio Villa Abecia is located on the southwestern foothills of the Bolivian Cordillera Central , between the Altiplano in the west and the Bolivian lowlands in the east.
