The municipality of Cliza is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The municipality of Cliza is one of three municipalities in the province of Germán Jordán . It borders the province of Esteban Arce to the west, the municipality of Toko to the south, the province of Punata to the east and northeast , and the municipality of Tolata to the north and northwest .
The central place of the municipality is Cliza with 8,362 inhabitants ( 2012 census ) in the central part of the district.

The municipality of Cliza is located on the plateau of Cochabamba in the transition area between the Andes mountain range of the Cordillera Central and the Bolivian lowlands. The region's climate is a subtropical mountain climate, which is characterized more by fluctuations in precipitation than by temperature differences over the course of the year .
