NGC 1456

NGC 1456 is a two stars existing Asterismus in the constellation Taurus ( right ascension : 03: 48: 08.3; declination : +22: 33: 30). It was discovered in 1886 by J. Gerhard Lohse during an observation during which this “D * 10-12, comp. nebulous (130 deg, 9 arcsec) ”, mistakenly mistaken for a galaxy and thus got an entry in the catalog.
