NGC 1465 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Perseus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 190 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light-years across.
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on September 25, 1886 .
