NGC 1475 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Eridanus the southern sky . It is an estimated 448 million light years from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 1467 , NGC 1472 , NGC 1477 , NGC 1478 .
The property was discovered by Francis Leavenworth in 1886 .
